la sorte ingrata ha impedito ieri a Piero Comanducci di continuare ad occuparsi della promozione del turismo della sua adorata Arezzo, proprio il prossimo sabato primo agosto,ion comicomistanza della Fiera Antiquaria, partirà la campagna per la petizione SAVE PIERO SALVA PIERO dedicata all’ampliamento delle visite nella Basilica di San Francesco, la Cappella Bacci può ospitarne solo 25 persone ogni 30 minuti, e Piero Comanducci si era detto entusiasta della petizione che intende essere un mezzo per riportare i visitatori ad Arezzo e consentire loro di potere vedere, anche se da lontano e all’esterno della Cappella Bacci il ciclo degli affreschi la Leggenda della Vera Croce di Piero della Francesca.
è molto più facile per me fare vedere le straordinarie immagini che Piero ha realizzato per la sua amatissima città e parlarci, poco, sopra.
io e la Città di arezzo abbiamo perso non solo un amico fraterno ma una coscienza pensante che da molti anni, forse troppi, lavorava sodo per riportare il turismo ad Arezzo che dal 7 aprile 2000 quando fu riaperto al pubblico dopo il lungo restauro il ciclo di affreschi Leggenda della Vera Croce di Piero della Francesca nella Cappella Bacci all’interno della Basilica di San Francesco portò nei primi tre anni la straordinaria cifra di quasi due milioni di visitatori per poi piombare in una disastrosa discesa che ci portato ad oggi indietro di decenni, quante ore di costruttive discussioni per parlare di piani di sviluppo che non hanno mai trovato ascoltatori nelle Istituzioni, forse perché era offerto gratuitamente?.
ricordare Piero Comanducci vuole dire parlare di motori, di Rallies ed auto storiche, ma che di Luna Rossa e negli ultimi anni di Terre di Arezzo, una meravigliosa serie televisiva alla scoperta dei tesori del territorio aretino in compagnia del fido Pier Luigi Rossi.
ricordo con piacere il giorno in cui mi regalò una delle sue speciale videocamere e una macchina fotografica accompagnandole con la frase “non so come fai con codesti occhiali ma fai ottimi video e foto”.
Piero mi aveva nominato speaker ufficiale per Mille Miglia, Rally di San Remo e Coppa degli Appennini perché secondo lui sapevo intrattenere molto bene spettatori e piloti.
da alcuni mesi stavamo programmando di ripetere le due serate in cui presentammo i suoi meravigliosi video al vecchio Centro Affari e alla sala Montetini nel magnifico scenario di piazza Grande, una sera per il mondo dei motori e una sera per le meraviglie del territorio aretino.
stai tranquillo Piero che io e Pier Luigi Rossi con tutti gli altri amici le faremo queste due serate perché io lo so tu ci filmerai da lassù. poi quando arriverò anche io, perché a noi il Paradiso lo hanno dato di certo, riprenderemo a studiare ancora piani di promozione per Arezzo.
l’Hotel Continentale per molti anni è stata la seconda casa di molti amici che grazie anche alla pazienza del suo straordinario babbo tutte le sere vi faceva tappa, bellissimi tempi di quando il mondo andava sempre in discesa.
un affettuoso abbraccio alla moglie Stefania, ai figli Raffaella e Marcello, siate fieri del marito e babbo che era veramente una persona SPECIALE.
